Unveiling of the MIMOSA Memorial

A Memorial for the MIMOSA was unveiled on Saturday, 30th May to commemorate the sailing of the Ship MIMOSA, One Hundred and Fifty years ago with the first Welsh settlers going out to Patagonia, Argentina.

The Memorial is on Princes Parade, Liverpool, ( overlooking the Cruise Terminal ).

Huw Edwards was in attendance along with the Welsh Minister of State and the Argentinian Ambassador and a Welsh Choir.
