As a separate project to Liverpool Ships and Sailors, I’ve been documenting the 70th anniversary of the Battle of the Atlantic commemorations for Liverpool City Council. We’ve made a website to document our process which is www.battleoftheatlanticmemories.com

On Sunday, we went to film the Veterans Parade at the Liverpool Anglican Cathedral. It was a very moving occasion and a really bright sunny day. Here’s a few minutes of unedited (or colour graded footage). There might be some faces that you can recognise.

The weekend has gone very quickly and it’s sad to think that most of the ships will be leaving Liverpool tomorrow in the afternoon. It’s been a fantastic and memorable weekend.
